Bently Nevada

Looking beyond the ordinary for maximum impact

Designit's physical augmented reality campaign for Bently Nevada's Orbit 60 series product launch was a groundbreaking blend of campaign, event collateral, and immersive experience. By bringing product features to life in real-time and creating a tangible landscape model, we showcased the product's impact and engaged the audience effectively. The innovative approach captivated attendees and left a lasting impression, with the experience now housed at the company headquarters in Minden, Nevada.

Introducing the future

Bently Nevada had a loyal user base, but their products were aging, and the competition was catching up. But they’d developed a revolutionary product that was about to change the game: The Orbit 60 series. The launch was set for the industry’s biggest event, and they looked to Designit to make a splash.

Mining for the “wow”

Our team threw everything at the wall. Holograms, lasers, pressure sensitive floors, VR, conceptual architecture—we mean everything. We knew that to truly drop the jaws of engineers; we would need state-of-the-art-tech as our main showpiece. In the end, the team developed an integrated campaign, along with two unique applications of AR—one light and portable, the other rich and immersive.

To call it a success would be an understatement.

The landscape experience was the hit of the show, while the mobile experience kept guests engaged and entertained on both the show floor and at the VIP launch event. The exhibit now resides as a centerpiece of the Bently education center in the headquarters in Minden, Nevada.
